The Laifen Pro Series Super Clean six-pack is the refill for both the Laifen Wave and the Wave Pro. Six heads, one price, and the same head Laifen fits to the brush when it comes out of the box.
What is in the pack
Six Super Clean heads, each with blue bristles and a fade indicator so you can see when the head has worn out. The listing describes the bristles as copper-free and anchored with an ultrasonic process, which Laifen says inhibits bacterial growth, and the heads carry a TUV certification mark.
The back of each head is cushioned with TPU, and a metal counterweight is moulded into it. T3's reviewer of the Laifen range found the counterweight's job is to damp the vibration that would otherwise reach your hand through the motor shaft, and said it also makes the oscillation steadier and quieter.
Pros and cons
Short version, based on verified specifications and independent testing.
What works
- Fits the Laifen Wave and the Laifen Wave Pro, so one pack covers both
- The same Super Clean head Laifen supplies with the brush, with copper-free bristle anchoring
- A TPU cushioned back and a metal counterweight to damp the vibration that reaches your hand
- Fade indicator bristles so you can see when the head needs changing
What doesn’t
- One head type only. Laifen's Gum Care and Ultra-Whitening heads are a different design
- The listing artwork carries a certification mark we have not independently verified
- You are buying a consumable, so there is nothing here to test beyond fit and bristle quality
Which heads it fits
The Super Clean head fits the Laifen Wave and the Laifen Wave Pro. Laifen also makes Gum Care and Ultra-Whitening heads, and those are a different design, so they are not interchangeable with this pack.
Our verdict
T3's reviewer put a brush head's working life at about three months, which makes six heads roughly a year's supply. At the price we recorded, this is the cheapest way to keep a Laifen brush running, and it avoids the subscription models that some rival brands use.
If you want the same refill for a different brand, our Oral-B iO Ultimate Clean heads review covers the competing pack.
The Laifen brand guide sets out how the heads fit the rest of the range.
